Deaf people represent a highly underserved group in developing countries, at the same time this group can gain tremendously from mobile communication and learning

It is our conviction that by deploying open source information and communication technologies for deaf education, a truly unique and socially beneficial context of use will be realized that will directly contribute towards human development. The SignWiki team is currently building partnerships for the project and its implementation in different countries and we would be delighted to hear from people and organizations interested in Deaf education.
